It was a long afternoon at the Qadsia club in Kuwait City as all four quarter-finals of the Sheikha Al Saad tournament went the distance.
 
 In the top half of the draw Egyptian teenagers Yathreb Adel and Nouran El Torky both beat higher-seeded players, both winning 12/10 in the fifth!
 
  Yathreb came from 2/1 down to beat top seed Emma Beddoes while Nouran overcame third seed 
 
In the bottom half second and fourth seeds Siyoli Waters and Lauren Selby will contest the semi-final, although both were taken to five games, by Lisa Aitken and Salma Hany Ibrahim respectively.
