The Kuwaiti squash player Abdullah Al-Mezyen has on Thursday qualified for the semifinal of the international open masters' squash championship (jana).
The championship is being held at Youssof Al-Mishari Center, Al-Qadsia Club, here with 32 professional players from around the globe participating.
Al-Mezyen offered a wonderful performance by beating his rival Omar Swaylem, of Egypt, 3-0.
He is scheduled to face Egypt's Mohammad Abul-Ghar who proceeded to the semifinal after defeating Bader Al-Husseini, of Kuwait, 3-1 earlier today.
